December Jobs Report +292K

We had a good jobs report this morning. The economy created 292,000 net new jobs last month. Plus, there were positive revisions for October and November.

The unemployment rate is steady at 5.0%. Splitting out the decimals, the unemployment rate is lower now than it was during the entire time from January 1974 through April 1997.
