April NFP = 165,000

The April jobs report is out and the economy created 165,000 jobs last month. The unemployment rate dropped to 7.5%. But what really caught everyone’s attention were the big revisions to the numbers for February and March. February’s NFP was revised higher from 268,000 to 332,000, and March went from 88,000 to 138,000. That’s a total of 114,000 jobs in revisions. The stock market looks to open higher today.
