Quick Update

The S&P 500 is having another good day. The index is currently up over 10 points to 1,682 which is another gain of 0.62%. This could be our sixth-straight up day for the index. We’ve also broken above the 50-DMA.

Today is rather unusual day in that the industrials are leading the market, with finance and materials not far behind, but energy is in last place. Typically, energy and materials tend to be pretty close together.

Microsoft ($MSFT) is back over $32 per share. The stock briefly fell below $31 last week. AFLAC ($AFL) jumped over $60 earlier today which it hasn’t done in two weeks. JPMorgan ($JPM) is also starting to wake up from a period of weak performance.
