Declining Cyclicals

I used to keep track of the Morgan Stanley Cyclical Index, but I think that index has been discontinued. No worries. Here’s a look at the relative strength of the three key cyclical sectors: Energy (black), Materials (blue) and Industrials (red).

You can see how poorly Energy has done. Materials are down as well. Industrials have held up the best, but that may not last.
